Awakening the Chaos Crosstag Classic

Upon joining, you should use the emote in "#get-roles-here" to get the participant role on tournament day. Please have your discord name or at least server nickname similar to your Challonge name, so the tournament organizer recognizes you. You will need to check in during the 30 minutes before tournament start and you can sign up anytime until tournament start. Anyone who fails to check-in will automatically be disqualified once the tournament starts. If you need help, ping or DM the organizer on Discord, this will either be "Weetabix_Whale" or "Sephyrias".

Rules

For cross-regional tournaments, there is a verification process for players based in the North American region, to be done preferably before the day of the tournament. Please consult the #tournament-crossregion-verification channel on our Discord! If your connection is considered valid for tournament play, then you will receive an approval role.

This is a 2 Stage tournament for the PC version of Blazblue Cross Tag Battle.

- Participants will separated into 2 groups, The Gold League and the Blue League. - Each group will go through a round robin of FT3, until everyone has played each other once. - Points are scored as follows: Win = 3 points, Tie (set goes to a 2-2 score line) = 1 point, Loss = 0 Points. - You can only change characters between sets or after losing a round. - Tiebreakers are decided first by the head to head result then round difference. - After the group stage has concluded the top 2 of each group are seeded into the Semi Finals where the winner of the Gold League will play the runner up of the Blue League and vice versa. - The second stage will the commence which is a single elimination FT3 Semi Finals and a FT5 Grand Finals. - You may ask for a connection test with your opponent before starting a set. If asked, you must oblige. A connection test is only to look at the ping and shouldn't be used for anything else. It must be clear to everyone involved that a connection test is not game 1.
